The vision of S4F is to create innovative, effective products and provide unparalleled support to the customers who use those products.
The company was founded as FamilyConnect with the goal of helping families by providing Christian families a tool to protect their kids on the Internet from pornography and other unwanted websites. Over the years we have fulfilled that goal and even more.
Since that time we have been instrumental in the creation and support of the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA). This is a law that requires publicly funded schools to provide content filtering for students. We work with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children by informing them of the sexual exploitation of children, and we have been involved with training of law enforcement to help track Internet predators.
In the area of product development, we have expanded our product line to protect networks. S4F has contributed financially and intellectually to the open source community and has established professional support services for those products. Most importantly, throughout all of the development and expansion the company has done over the years I am pleased to report that meeting customers’ needs has been the top priority.
Customer satisfaction is a goal that will continue for S4F, and I will do everything in my power to make sure this goal is a guiding force for our company.
