Channel Partner

channel partnerA Channel Partner is an entity that sell products like the Centipede Firewall and the Centipede WebFilter directly to businesses, schools or other organizations. A Channel Partner is typically a consulting business or an IT business.

There are two types of Channel Partners: WHOLESALE and AGENTS

WHOLESALE: The Wholesale Partner buys products directly from Centipede Networks and is responsible for billing, installation and technical support of the client. Wholesale Partners must have a capable full time staff and a system for providing billing, installation and technical support services. Centipede Networks supplies 2nd level technical support to the Wholesale Partner.

AGENT: An Agent is a partner who sells and assists Centipede Networks in the service and support of the client. Centipede Networks bills and supports the client. The Agent helps facilitate communication and assists Centipede Networks locally to provide services. An Agent receives a commission for sales and assistance efforts.
